Produced in June 2015 to promote the Game of Thrones, Seasons 1-4 DVD Box Set, https://www.ispot.tv/ad/7PVl/game-of-thrones-the-complete-seasons-1-4-own-the-throne this Throne is the star of the piece.Approximately 62” x 63” x 87” tall, 310 lbs., plastic with a metallic paint, able to be disassembled into 2 pieces, and fully functional as a chair, this Throne was commissioned solely for use in the June 2015 DVD commercial. This is the sixth Throne cast from the original mold, (#1 was used on set, # 2-5 were Touring Thrones), and made exclusively for use in the GOT Season 1-4 DVD Box Set commercial. Given to our consignor by an HBO producer, this Throne was used in the DVD commercial, then moved to their residence, where it has been displayed and enjoyed by guests of our consignor since 2015. Nearly everyone who visits wants a photo of themselves sitting on the Iron Throne. The stories are legend. Who doesn’t want to sit on the Iron Throne?
